The LinkPoint® Virtual Check service lets merchants accept checks
online and have them automatically processed.
The LinkPoint VirtualCheck service is a value-added enhancement, allowing
merchants to accept and process electronic check payments. The transactions are
captured by the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway. The system debits the amount
from the customer's checking account and transfers the funds to the merchant's
direct deposit account. Merchants are notified of returned checks normally
within two to four days, and the system automatically resubmits the check.
Merchants can also request email notifications of a transaction's acceptance.
